What is a Car Boot Sale?
A car boot sale is like a giant garage sale where people load up their cars and trailers with clothes, toys, household items, and sporting equipment etc. and sell it to shoppers looking for a bargain or something unique, and those looking to recycle and repurpose.
There are up to 200 stalls to choose from and entry for shoppers is free!
Car Boot Sales are also a fantastic way to reduce landfill. One person's trash is another person's treasure......

Convenient off-street parking
Plenty of parking for shoppers and other visitors is available in the school grounds for a $5 donation. This parking gives easy access to the markets and saves you from copping a parking fine!

Who runs the Car Boot Sale?
The Car Boot Sale is a fundraising activity for the Narrabeen Sports High School P&C Association.

The administration, cooking and helping out on the day is done largely by parent and student volunteers, so we ask you to respect that most of us are unpaid helpers.

Feeling Peckish?
The School holds a barbecue stall where you can buy a bacon and egg or sausage sandwich for breakfast or lunch. There are cold drinks available at the barbecue stall or you can grab a cappuccino from one of the coffee vendors you will find around the place.
You can buy delicious home-made cakes and other treats to have with your coffee from the new P&C Cake Stall.

Come prepared!
Wear a hat and sunscreen if it's hot or bring an umbrella if it looks like rain. This is an outdoor market and will go ahead in most weather. If you are prepared for the weather you will enjoy your day.

Volunteers
Volunteers Needed!!

The NSHS P&C is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help run each Car Boot Sale. We need your support to make each event a smashing success!

The success of each event and subsequent fundraising relies on the unwavering support of NSHS families and the local community. Every dollar raised goes directly back to our school.

This year, we are aiming high with an enormous goal of raising $55,000 to achieve our ultimate target of $105,000 for installing much-needed air conditioning in the school hall. We are already halfway there, with $50,000 saved so far! Your participation and support are crucial in helping us achieve this goal!

Our students and teachers deserve better! A comfortable, air-conditioned hall will benefit everyone, providing a healthy and conducive environment for:
-
HSC exams
-
Senior School Yearly Exams
-
Naplan Exams
-
Presentation Days
-
CAPA Performances
-
Assemblies
We encourage all NSHS families to volunteer—kids are welcome too! The P&C is a small group of dedicated parents who cannot do it all alone. Even if you have never volunteered before, don’t be afraid—this will be lots of fun.

As a thank-you, all volunteers will enjoy a FREE BBQ breakfast after their shift!

Come for as long as you can spare. We just want to see you there!

Thank you for your support!
